I’m painfully numb

I can’t feel my bum

There’s a tingling in my tongue

I can’t move my thumbs

Yes, I’m painfully numb

After all I done

To be what I become

I’m painfully numb!

I did everything I was supposed to do

Took multi vitamins, did exercises too

I went to work, paid my bills

Now I’m beset by a variety of ills

But that’s okay because

After all, it’s stress that kills!

I did everything I was supposed to do

Went to school, took communion too – Bleah!

They tried to teach I the golden rule

Instead I learned I was the fool

Because after all, he who has gold
