Rio Bisbee.Band Rings in the New Year!

Determined to end 2020 with Bang! rather than whimper, last night your Rio Bisbee.Band played a rocking studio party to ring in the New Year. After a sumptuous repast at Chez Maheu, we repaired to the Bisbee Cave to warm up the ozone for a small gathering of live indoor singing to delighted loud volume rock ‘n roll music fans in person. Harrison opened the evening’s program singing Testify, Back Burner, Quick Stop; I stepped up to the mic for Arvela, Dans Mon Bateau, Tribal Man, I Remember Quaaludes, Reefer Leave Me, (Ode to) Barbara Jo. Harrison led Dragging The Line, favorite cover, Hootenanny, Cold Chillum. At midnight guest artist Heidi led a heart-melting rendition of the traditional seasonal favorite Auld Lang Syne. After a cover of Bad Boy, we resorted to the Rio Bisbee book for Mary’s Blues, Good Teeth, House Upon A Rock, Funk Etude, and wrapped up our cheer-filled holiday festivities with Painfully Numb. At 2 am on January first it was declared the best party this year! And the best party of LAST year!! Wow! That’s a party!

Don’t think your Rio Bisbee.Band will be resting on laurels – no way Jose! 2021 sessions are already scheduled. More outrageous independent music is coming your way!
